2016 SAN 210 Surf Select 3.0 upgrade issue - LINC & PDM Update?

Ordered the Surf Select 3.0 upgrade so I can use my garmin watch. Installed the module. Got the LINC update and updated the boat. No Pairing.

Questions for those that did this upgrade:
1) Did you have any issues? How did you solve them?
2) When you did the software update for the LINC, did you have to update the PDM also?
3) Any other ideas?

Motor has to be running! Tried in my garage, with just Linc on, didn’t work. Went out today, started motor and it connected immediately!

so, simple swap of module, 1 LINC UPDATE, works great!

BTW, it is the same LINC update for the new ballast senders. Only have to do one update to the Linc to get both configured right.
