2004 super air Nautique. After the boat is used for a few minutes the idle begins to race anywhere from 2100RPM to 3200RPM. Have tried to clean the inside of the throttle body and throttle shaft. I lubed all the linkage and pivots. Lubed the inner throttle cable. Added a extra throttle return spring. None of these maintenance items ended up helping. I have found out that turning off the engine and restarting it clears it up immediately, but it happens again. My assumption is a issue with the TPS sensor or some other computer related issue.
I would appreciate any thoughts or fixes anyone has experienced with a positive outcome with this issue.
