2007 SV-211 TE water in bilge area with ballasts + weight

Noticed a pretty significant amount of water accumulating in my bilge the last time I was out after having installed additional ballasts bags. While looking at the engine compartment, I noticed that water was coming in where the hull meets the rub rail. I used some 3M sealant (the non-permanent stuff) over top of the black stuff that was there from the factory and thought I had sealed it up good but apparently not. I'm somewhat confident that this is the main source of the water in my bilge as it doesn't build up unless the boat is weighed down.

Is this a job for the dealer? Or something anyone on here has been able to successfully do? If so, any tips?

    Thanks!

Just had a thought that you might be getting water in though the metal grating on the rear sides. If you're weighted and using a wake shaper, it could potentially spray into those.
