    FTC 3 Tower symmetrical cracks

    Hi Everyone.
    I've looked through the forum and found lots on cracks with the FTC 3 tower. I think my cracks are in an area not previously discussed. This tower is on a 2013, so shouldn't fall under the water drainage issue. Couple questions;
    1. Has anyone else had cracks at this location?
    2. Has anyone had success working with Nautique or Roswell to have an issue rectified outside of warranty?
    3. Anyone had success having cracks on FTC 3 welded?

    TIA for any help.

    Hey you need to quit pulling tubers all day from the tower... Your right it's post freeze design change but it also does not look like a freeze issue by way it cracked. Is it just the one leg or both? Are you the original owner?

      I've never pulled a tube from the tower, but I'm third owner so... Cracks are in exact same spot on port and starboard side.

        Update - Russ the warranty rep at Nautique emailed me saying that the cracks may just be in the paint and cosmetic. The towers are powder coated, right? This doesn't seem right.

          Update 2 - Both Roswell and Nautique state that they think it is just paint cracking and no structural damage. I was also informed by Nautique that these towers were painted and not powder coated.

          Anyone else ever given this information?

            Just busting your nuts on the tuber comment. I had a tower do the same and it was corrosion under the powder coat wherever there was a nick. Marking the situation worse was its salt water use. Can you pop off the paint or is it fully adheared to the metal below. I know you are probably hesitant to do this but you really need to see whats happening below.
