2014 G23 no clean wave

Hey all,

I have a '14 G23 that has treated me great so far on southern Lake Michigan. I've always had a nice clean steep wave with full ballasts and no extra weight and NSS 0 NCRS 3 running from 11-12mph, but all of a sudden I haven't gotten a wake at all. I went under and check the wave plates and everything looks normal, but I do not think they're coming out in surf mode. Tried switching the surf side to no avail, restarted everything, turned on & off surf, tried 9.5-12.5mph, wake still looks like garbage unless we take a super tight turn. Is it possible we blew a fuse to the wave plates?

Your LINC would tell you if a circuit needed to be reset. The plates may have something stuck in them, or I have also heard of the cover plate bolts being set too tightly. You might pull those off and see if there is anything stuck in there. You can also put the boat in demo mode and deploy the plates on land without the engine running to test them.

Yup I would put the boat on the trailer in demo mode. Would be odd for both actuators to fail at the exact same time though. But they do fail every once in awhile. Either that or stand on the swim platform while under way and see if you can see the plates trying to move. Have you messed with the surf setting at all? That will dictate how much the plates stick out and affect the wave quite abit too.
