    Tower latch won’t pull back

My right side latch that pulls and rotates to unlock will not slide back without major force

anyone else experienced this? Any solutions? Does it require some sort of lube?

The latch is adjustable. When the tower is down you can see the adjustment screw. You can try pulling back on the tower when you're trying to unlatch it to take the pressure off the latching pin.

Yes I’ve been pulling back on tower to relieve pressure but to no avail

That large nut in the middle should not be turning. Those two allen bolts come off too, take them out and look at how it works. I had to take mine apart a while back because it was getting stuck.. After I fixed it I realized that pulling the lever completely out and maintaining outward pressure while turning prevents this from happening in the future. Haven't had an issue since I took it apart and fixed it.
