Steering 21 G23 while surfing becomes difficult.

I only have 20 hours on my 2021 G23, and was curious if anyone else had an issue at surf speeds where turning for a slight course correction becomes difficult?
It most of the time resets after going back to Neutral, after that steering becomes easy and holds its course which seems to be normal operation. This happened at least 3 times.

I've had the same thing happen to me at one point. I made my advisor aware of what had happened and he was unable to find anything wrong with our boat. I'm curious to see if anyone else had the same experience and managed to pinpoint the cause.

I would start by having the dealer recalibrate the electronic steering. If it is not done correctly it will "kick out" every once in a while. I would also have them check the swing of the rudder to make sure it is the same distance on both sides. One of my boats was offset and turning to the left was a bit tough but once the rudder was evened out it steered great.

Like I mentioned in another thread, twice now on our boat we have had the power steering stop working and had to reboot the whole boat to bring it back. Both times it happened when we had killed the engine switching riders or taking a break then start up and surf and it was very difficult to steer until we stopped and rebooted. Is that what happened to you or are you saying the power steering is still on but it doesn't turn when you turn the wheel?

Not exactly it was difficult to steer in one direction the other direction was much easier but still a little off. I did not have to reboot the boat for the normal feel to come back.
If I went to Neutral turned the wheel back and forth and then back in gear it would return to normal operation.
I looked at your other thread and we seem to be having more similar issues, I may have turned to boat off and back on but for sure did not cycle the battery.
