2006 SANTE Hydro gate handle fell off bracket

    Hey all,
The handle to my surf gate seems like it lost the bolt down below that hold it on a pivot.

Just pulling the screws out the panel doesn’t seem to pop the cover off. do I need to remove other portions around the throttle to access the underside of the other handle? Just curious what I need to do.

And for what it’s worth mine has always been very hard to pull back and forth was curious if it should be smooth to operate

My hydrogate lever moves very smoothly and easily.

You can see on the bracket where the mounting point should be. So I guess really I need to know how to access the throttle bracket I don’t see much space except for the small cut where the throttle handle comes through

        Hi,
Were you ever able to reconnect your shifter to the hydrogate?

I have the same issue and I can not figure out how to access the bracket with the screws that connect to the handle

From the top, my hand doesn't fit and I do not know how to remove the correct panel to access it wither

        Thx

I believe I removed the bolts that mount the throttle/ shifter. Usually it was able to get access with that out-of-the-way and added nylon locking stainless hardware to reconnect the hydro handle :-)

Do yourself a favor and buy some extra hardware when you buy what you need. You'll definitely drop some down and lose them under the gate handle.

I removed the mount for the shifter and there is no way to get more than a few fingers in
Def not enough room to get two hands in to re-attach

And maybe I had my captains chair unbolted as well at the time? I just remember dropping the throttle assembly from the bracket getting in there with two hands so maybe one hand up behind the bolster panel and reaching in as well from the open throttle space.

Captains chair might take you five or 10 minutes to unbolt and sit out of the way, but opens up a lot more room to get in there and wedge yourself in place to put on the hardware.

Just add a washer on either side and a nylon locking bolt. And like I said, buy a few extra because you'll drop things into the abyss.
