Another Question on Ballast Sensors and Odd Emptying Times …

I seem to have some odd behavior in my ballast pumps on my 2020 GS22 with 113 hours on it as represented in two specific examples and I’m looking for some guidance from you guys:

    1. I have the Pro Ballast option, and while all three of my ballast pumps seem to fill the tanks fairly consistently with the displayed percentage figures on the Linc screen, emptying them seems to take almost twice as long. I keep our GS22 on a covered Pier Pleasure hoist, so I ALWAYS do a final dump of the ballast when I put the boat back on the hoist at the end of the day, and the last few days it seems that I have to run the Port and Starboard ballast an extra 5-10 min after the Linc screen shows 0% until the water finally fully evacuates (the belly tank is generally OK). Any thoughts on why I am seeing consistent fill times but much longer empty times?

    2. Yesterday I was checking the power diagnostics on the Linc and I saw what I think is a fault (since it was red and not showing any % full number). Hitting the “Result Fault” button didn’t change anything, and my belly ballast pump seems to working fine. Any thoughts on this…?

I had a highlighted message like you do on your sender when one of my ballast sensors stopped working. Maybe your is getting ready to fail? I would just go on and replace all 3 ballast sensors since they are under warranty and are prone to fail on these boats. I have a G23 2017

Updating this post and now my starboard ballast sensor is also showing in red and not displaying a % status (although I forgot to take a new pic so I’m posting the same photo). My ballast is still operating normally (albeit still emptying much more slowly than what’s indicated on the Linc screen), but does anyone have additional insight on what’s going on here beyond GML’s recommendation to replace all three senders? Thanks for any help from those who have seen this before!

Super, thanks. I just spoke to my Dealer about this to document everything for warranty work. They told me that they had actually already replaced all three of my sensors in May before I picked up the boat for the season, so they think this may get cleared with a software update (which will also supposedly fix the erroneous "High Water Alert" message that is a known issue). If not, they'll replace the sensors again!
