Boat had run perfect all year put about 40 hours on it.
Here are the symptoms I had while out for about two hours this morning:
-Perfect pass display was blank
-Lost throttle response in engine went into idle only mode till I restarted the boat
-LCD-engine temp kept beeping and flicking off and on as in some sort of reset.
-And a fuel gauge would dip down to empty probably causing a low fuel beep
Boat has two brand new optima batteries. Voltage always showed 14 V.
This occurred on battery one /battery 2 and on both batteries.
And I was letting the fuel run a little low anyway we were close to home and it was just beeping nonstop. So I was dipping under a quarter tank and the voltage drop would cause a
The fuel gauge to go to empty and then recover back up.
***I did see someone mention a thicker wire between the battery and the brain box.(?)
Please help if anyone’s had this sort of series of voltage issues UGG!
Please don’t tell me I need a new $1400 box.
And for bonus points the gauge for the engine temp on the dash wasn’t reading this time. It does read normally on occasion and the LCD read the engine temp. But that gauge wasn’t reacting.
