95 super sport misses like it's on the rev limiter. It seems to run ok after an hour. I put some fuel dry in, it didn't help?? Plug wires look good it think. Any thoughts??

RE: 95 Super Sport 351 missing like it
What engine? What rpm? Are your plugs good? have you tested the plug wires? How old is your carb? Has it ever been rebuilt? (That is if it is carburated).
Hook the fake-a-lake up or something and run the engine at the rpm where it cuts out... and one by one pull A plug wire off of the spark plug, then replace it. You can find if it's 1 particular cylinder that's messing up or a combination of a few or another un related problem.
Also could be an ignition problem. Electronic ignition or the old points and condenser? Probably electronic...2018 SAN 230

RE: purin like a kitten
I got mine at the autoparts store. Autozone I think. Just a universal kit. You'll have to play around with the different lengths though. But for $7, it's worth it. Plug wires don't have to be "marine grade". All plug wires have to be anti-spark or it would defeat the purpose of the wire.2018 SAN 230
