The last two times I have tried to fuel up the gas isnt going into the tank but pour out of the fuel intake. Is it possible that its the angle of the pump or is the tank not venting? I have a 2013 g23

It is possible it is neither of the two items you listed. Is it same on both sides? Nautique uses pita inlet control valves. See below linked thread.

fixed the problem. The emission cartridge that manufacturers are required to put in was full of water. After 8 years on the lake I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I removed the vent hoses from both sides of the filter blow through them and was able to feel the air from both directions. Removed the filter and replaced it with marine grade fuel line and the boat filled up with gas in minutes with no issues.
My only question now is, is it necessary to replace that filter? I don't really see the use of if except it did stop water from getting in the fuel tank. I ordered a new one and will install once it arrives.

I have the same issue on a 2022 G23 Paragon. I take a long thick zip tie (like 2 feet) and loop it around through itself to create a large loop at one end so that it cannot fall into the fuel inlet. I put that zip tie down the opposite side that I am fueling and that solved the problem. There is a small flap that the zip tie opens up and allows the tank to vent. I had everything checked multiple times and this is the only thing that would solve it. The pressure builds in the tank and the weight of the fuel when it’s hot is not heavy enough to push the flap open and let it vent. It took me hours to fill my boat the first time….like one gallon at a time, it was ridiculous. Not one issue since I started doing this technique.
