Hello - Having some problems with our 2007 SV211. SOME of the gauges are working intermittently. Both analog and digital oil pressure, temp, tach. The digital oil gauge does not shut off, it reads 0 PSI. It will pop on and off reading what would be good pressure, then 0. Other gauges - volts, gas, depth - they are on solid and working fine. This just started today, its been working perfectly all summer. Any ideas or help is much appreciated. Thanks

Oh yeah, they had them. I think 2007 might be the year they stopped running the stupid pitot tubes into the gateway, but then it just received the paddlewheel signal. Those don't fail as often, but it sure sounds like a gateway issue to me.I own and operate Silver Cove Marine, which is an inboard boat restoration, service, and sales facility located in Mooresville, North Carolina. It does to me too. They stopped the pitot tubes in 06. But I thought they stopped the box on 07. You would know better than me.2006 SV 211 (Sold)

My '07 has a gateway box but no pitots tubes.

Based on some diagnosis I’ve been doing on a friend’s 09 SANTE for the last 2 weeks you may have a bad, or going bad gateway. His stopped working from one use to the next… same as your’s, but his oil, temp, tach, and Zero Off don’t function at all other than reading 0.0 on the digital readout. Volts, gas and speedo still function.
We’ve come to the conclusion that the gateway box resistor is bad on the CAN BUS signal so no info can be passed to the gateway allowing the gauges to work. If you read the CAN BUS wiring with a digital multimeter you should see about 60ohms resistance. If you see around 120ohms that means there is a break in the resistor causing communication issues.
He ordered a new gateway today as they are still available for his model. If a gateway isn’t available your only other choice is replacing the gauges and ditching the gateway.
