Last time I was out in our 2002 SANTE (with a 330 Excalibur) it died. It sounded like it starved for fuel as it quit.
After getting towed home, I connected a fuel pressure gauge to the output of the low pressure fuel pump. The pump did not come on. I unplugged the power to the pumps. I connected the leads of a volt meter to the supply wires for the high pressure fuel pump, turned on the boat, and got no reading. I checked the fuses (in the holder on the engine that has 3 fuses in it) , and they all looked fine. I've ordered a relay, and hope that is it. But that leaves me with a couple of questions...
1. Does anyone know which relay goes to the fuel pumps? The fuel pumps have a green/yellow wire going to them, I don't see any green/yellow wires coming from any of the 3 relays.
2. Would having the pumps disconnected from electrical cause the computer to not send power to the fuel pumps (resulting in my 0 readings)?
3. Any other ideas why I'm not getting power to the pumps?
Thanks -
