    Beeping?

Maybe you guys can figure this one out for me...every time I initially launch my 05 SANTE it continues to beep multiple times while I'm idling out to the main channel. It stops after I give it some throttle. I'm in plenty deep water, so I don't think its the depth finder, and their are no lights on the dash that indicate a problem. Anyone know why this may be happening?

    RE: Beeping?

Lots of folks have this problem. My 05 196 does exactly as you describe. Goes away as soon as I give it some gas. I hear its a low voltage problem. Look at your analog voltage gauge when you hear the beep. I bet it'll be below 12 volts. Someone posted that its the system alerting you that there may not be enough voltage to accurately run the depth gauge. Not sure what the fix is.

could be the low fuel warning. i have this problem on my 06 206 when you are under a half tank and accelerate or slow down the fuel sloshes areound and triggers the low fuel warning. annoying, but no fix that i am aware of.

        RE: Beeping?

I rarely dip below half a tank of gas, so I know its not that. Does the low voltage mean I need to look at getting new batteries, or is this just a fault in general?

I was told by a Tige dealer that they disconnect the alarm to avoid this nuisnance. The 06 206 does the same thing below 1/2 a tank.
Has anyone disconnected this alarm? If so where is it? I assume there only 1 alarm for fuel, oil pressure, voltage etc.

Of course the downside is it won't sound if there is a real problem.

I had/have the same problem with my 05 196. I enclosed a previous thread with some additional informaiton. It is related to low voltage, as soon as I give it some throttle and raise RPMs, voltage meter jumps up to 12 volts or above and beeping stops. Drove me crazy for months, I thought it was something with depth finder/alert.
