Hi I installed a new back seat and the Clamshell engine cover hits on it and will bot stay open. I would like to retrofit two struts to keep it open. Has anyone done this on a 2001 Ski? . I know I have seen it on other makes and models. I just need to know what length and pound of strut I would use . I have already found 2 stainless ball mount brackets. I have also seen the brackets attached to the struts . Thank You Joe
