2008 343 Excalibur Water Circulation Pump

I believe my water circulation pump bearing is starting to fail. It is on a 2008 Nautique 206. Are there any pro tips to confirm it is the pump's bearings versus another pulley. I have a video of the engine running, but I cannot load it to the site.

Take the belt off and grab the pulley. Rock it back and forth and see if there's any play in it.

So the water circulation pump bearings seem to be ok. There is no wobble in the pulley. When the belt is off I noticed the tensioner pulley does not freely spin. Took it off and the backside of the bearing do not look the greatest. Too bad I cannot find just the pulley. Looks like I will be buying the full tensioner assembly.

Yea, replace the entire tensioner. It isn't terribly expensive and this is one of those failure points that's a "weekend ruiner."

Serpentine belt and tensioner- always good to change together :-). Can’t hurt!

Nice find. I knew they had to be out there. I went with the whole assembly just as added insurance.
