Height of 2021 G23 on Trailer with tower up

I know this question has been asked a million times with varying answers being given but I thought I'd give it a bash. We're in the process of building a new garage and are wanting to make sure that, should we get a G23 in the future, it fits in without folding the tower down. Chances are we won't be going for massive wheels or anything fancy in that regard for the trailer. The trailer will also most likely be a Boatmate trailer as that is the only trailer company in my country (RSA) that would be able to make a suitable trailer. We currently have a 2015 Sport Nautique 200 that would fit in a 2.8 metre (9' 2.2") garage if I had to take a good guess [not currently at the river]. So I'm looking for the following:
    • Height with tower up on trailer (standard tower)
    • Height with tower up on trailer (telescoping tower)
I just want to make sure I cover all my bases as there's no point going extremely high and then still not being able to fit the boat in without the tower up. Our current plan is to build a door that is 3.5 metres (11' 5.8"). So we're wondering if this would be enough. Thanks in advance!

Wow, 14ft is quite a big jump up. Thanks for the help. Will see what provisions I can make.

Not sure about a standard G23, but I just measured my Paragon with the tower all the way down and was at 9' 10" on a triple axle boatmate trailer. I believe the G23 with the telescoping tower is a few inches taller from what I've heard with the tower all the way down. A standard tower all the way up would easily be over 12 feet, so yeah you'd need at least the 14' door I'd think if you don't drop the tower. That said, why not drop the tower?

Thanks so much, I'll definitely have to look at those plans and make some changes. But to get to the reasoning of not folding the tower down, you won't believe me when I say that it's simply because want ultimate convenience, lol. We have a partner that owns the boat with us and convenience is always the first thought. But dropping the tower is still an option if I do end up sticking with the original height, so it's not a train smash. But thank you once again!

No need to worry about wanting ultimate convenience on your luxury item, I think we all want that and it's just what you're willing to pay for. If you can, I highly recommend the telescoping tower as it's super simple to put up/down and has a much better bimini. Unfortunately I don't think the regular G with telescoping tower has an option for the over the tower cover like the P23 has, but if it's in a garage it shouldn't be too big of a problem.

Yeah, sometimes it's not worth that extra amount. Currently the plan is to only get a G later on, no plans in the near future just yet but hopefully within the next 5 years or so. Covering isn't too much of an issue, the garage ronevations will ensure that there's minimal dust
