    Neutral safety switch

I have a 1983 Ski Nautique 2001 with a PCM 350 to a 1:1 velvet drive transmission. I have rewired dash, replaced gauges and can’t find out where one wire goes to. It is coming off the neutral safety switch to behind the dash. Anyone know where it should be relocated to? Is it the ignition switch? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Even a diagram or schematic

I would think it would go to the start terminal of the ignition switch.

Thank you Nautiquehunter! I am thinking the same thing. My best non-electrical knowledge of how it works. The switch should prevent the start of the engine if not in neutral. Testing the other lead from Neutral switch I read “hot”. Back of ignition switch (key switch) BATT is “hot”, IGN is power to lights and allows power to go to some accessories, so must be last terminal ST which is momentary to send power to starter then off once started….

Yes the ST terminal will send power only when the key is turned all the way to the start position.
