Was at a lake end of summer and got hot a few times and seaweed was bad. Had to clean line out 3 times but it did get to 250degrees the last time. Seemed ok but next day I went out and milky oil came out by the flame arrestor for overflow. Ran at home on hose to get all milky out and things. Getting ready to tear engine down after holidays. Thoughts on just head gasket or you think heads or even works a crack in block to get that much milky sludge/oil to be running out?

Looks like water gets into the oil, you could do a pressure test on the cooling system before you pull it apart. With s little luck you can hear where the leak is.
Especially with oil pan removed.
I bought mine 10 years ago with the same problem. I had a crack in the block.

If you are sure that the water-in-the-oil happened after the overheating episode, then most likely a head gasket has failed or you have a cracked head(s). The GT40 heads have been known to crack, particularly after overheating. If it is a cracked head, I recommend that you consider replacing both heads with the upgraded GT40-P heads. The "P" heads are considered by many to be an upgrade, with a bit better compression and better flow. The "P" heads also make changing spark plugs easier as the spark plug hole is not angled, but perpendicular.

Thanks guys. I hope its just the head gaskets and at worse the heads. Engine was completely rebuild 3 years ago.

Into the tearing engine down. I have intake off and getting the exhaust off. Hope to have torn apart this weekend. Intake I see 3 cylinders that have rust in like they are the ones leaking. Rear two on one side and the last one on the other side. Thoughts on both head gaskets blown in overheating a couple times or cracked heads? Just preparing for the worst but hoping for the best at this point.
