Seat base crack in '04 211

Just came across a crack this evening. The left rear corner or the raised seat base is cracking through. :shock: What the heck is this?? Has anyone else had anything like this happen? As I an the second owner (had 30hrs) Im not sure CC would warrant it. For the life of me I cant figure why this would fail, my butt falls well within the capacity of the boat Yellow_Flash_Colorz: .
Any tips on how I would remove this "seat pan" if it comes to that. It looks like a pretty involved job. Any tips??? thx dee

did you buy the transferable hull and deck warranty? If so, you might be covered. I would contact your local dealer about it and see what they have to say.

that is a very easy fiberglass repair job and to beef the area up, the pain is disassembling it.

skinautique, I bought the engine and electronics warranty, I think I missed the hull and deck. but I am going to ask my dealer for some advice.

speck, thats just what I was thinking also, it looks like a real puzzle to take apart but once you get it off should be an easy fix. Im thinking winter project.

I have the same problem on my '05 SV211, but it is even worse! However, the warranty covers it, no big deal.

Deester, talk to you dealer and get the hull & Deck warranty. I'm sure CC will let you do this, it is only right, you bought the boat with only 30 hrs. on it. Correct Craft stands behind their product, you shouldn't have any problems.

Just a quick update guys. Correct Craft has assured me this repair will be fully covered by them without any problem.
I have to be honest, What other company would stand behind their product even after being bought used and the warranty not purchased? This is a good company doing good business. Makes it so easy for me to order my NEW Nautique this week. First time to order one just the way we want it. Loaded '07 220. We are stoked !

Dee, that is great that they took care of it! I had the same experience with my first Nautique! I bought a 1987 2001 in 1992 and had some problems with the way it was running, I called CC, took it in and they put a new carb. on at no charge. I have been sold on CC ever since then!!

I have to second the good company comment. I just had the "pop up stern light" fail to pop up on my boat. Since I did not want to haul the boat to the dealer for them to just fix that one item, I decided to remove it myself and take it to the dealer, but in my attempt to remove it, I mangled the heck out of it. It is still being covered under the 5 year stem to stern warranty. I was hoping it would be covered, but not sure since it was amngled so bad, but they decided to cover it under warranty.

I might be a strong critic of CC, but I am a strong supporter of them too.
