The first time this happened I had no code and I assumed it was the idle air control valve but after changing that with no luck I changed the TPS with a $20 part from auto parts store and it ran fine for two years. This time it started the high idle again and I had a TPS fault warning on my dash. I bought the part from Nautique parts this time and it's running fine now but, the code didn't go away. I live over an hour from anyone who services Nautiques and no one in the area could erase a code on a boat. These motors don't use OBD2 they have MEFI4. I'll show a picture of the connector you are looking for. It's called a data link connector it's on the starboard side of the top of motor near the back and it is plugged into another connector. Just unplug a few until you see this one pictured below. (You have to remove the plastic engine cover with the three plastic nuts on it)Then you can use a paperclip cut in half to jump A and B and it will put it in diagnostic mode. Now turn the key to on (fuel pump primes heard) and then put push your throttle all the way forward and back to neutral. I did it twice for good measure. Next thing I know the code is gone and dash is back to normal. Use a paperclip not a wire because it has to get fairly deep in there to connect and a wire twisted tight did not work.
I hope this helps someone because I couldn't find all this info together anywhere.
