My 2005 SV211 engine has about 1000 hours, last few times I have been out, the engine will "surge" or idle high--around 1750 rpms-- when coming out of gear into neutral. Not every time, but it is common. Shutting off the engine and restarting corrects the problem, until the next time I go into gear and give it some throttle. My first thought is the throttle position sensor? Any thoughts? Seems like I can just pick up one at the auto parts store for like $40 and swap pretty easily. Any other ideas? Thanks!
