    accessing thru-hull fitting under dash 2019 230

    Hello,
New account but long time lurker, and once a former member. I am doing the Wakemakers front ballast upgrade for a new to me 230. This requires that I detach the vent hose for the center ballast tank from the thru-hull fitting on the starboard side to add in the new lines. There is limited space to get at this from under the front seats, and no visibility. What is the best way to reach this? Under the dash, it looks like there is an access point (picture attached). Is this how I reach the fitting? How do I remove this without breaking anything? Any advice you have is greatly appreciated.Click image for larger version

I’m pretty sure you have to remove the starboard side bow seat back cushion in front of dash to gain access to it. There are some Xmas tree fasteners on bottom then lift the cushion up and it’ll slide off the bracket. I did this on my 09 210 and that’s how I did it. Hope this helps and good luck, should be the same on your boat I believe

Yea this is correct. It's the "Christmas Tree" fasteners. Note that you will almost certainly break at least one. I bought a whole bag on Amazon.
