UPDATE 4/25/22
Good news. I had a Nautique mechanic out to look at the boat and he said the issue is with the actuator that controls one of the ballast tanks. It is stuck in the on position with the intake valve open. He said he’s never seen this before but the boat is under warranty so they ordered a new actuator. In the meantime, it’s safe to use the boat and since the ballast valve is open we can use it to surf and ski as long as we store it out of the water when not in use.

New owner here. Just got my ‘21 Super Air G25 in the water and noticed a whining sound (maybe a pump or a fan?) coming from the starboard side of the boat. There are no warnings on the display. The sound is always on, even if the engine is off and powered down. The only way to kill the sound is to turn off the power switch on the battery under the engine cover. Any idea what this sound is? Is this something to worry about?
