    Replacing speedo tubes with gps

I have a 2005 SV211 that has the speedo lines going into the Gateway box. After reading about the potential for water shorting out the gateway box I am looking for a way to run the speedo without having the tubes connected to the gateway box before I have a problem. I know you can replace all the gauges with analog and bypass the gateway but I don’t want to fork out $1500 bucks and lose water/air temp and depth. I also don’t want to disconnect the tubes and use the Perfect Pass for speed like a lot of people have done. I think the 2006 SV211 has a paddlewheel or some other set up that doesn’t have the tubes running into the gateway box. Has anyone found an easy way to correct this issue?
