    Heater Blower Probs

    Hello,

'07 SV211 Team Edition. I finally got it in the water yesterday and noticed a new problem with the heater. Normally, you press the button on the keypad once for low, twice for medium, and 3x for high. Now, it only goes on and off, and it only seems to be low speed.

It is blowing warm air, and everything else is working as it should.

Anyone ever experienced this before? My wife and daughter will be sad!

I have a 2003 210 so this is a shot in the dark, but I do have the same single switch functions for the three speeds... My heater blower motor never worked since I took ownership and my winter project was to replace it. After replacing the blower motor, I pushed the button to test it out but it would only run on one speed. Frustrated for sure, I checked the fuse panel and I believe there were two separate fuses(breakers?) for the different fan speeds. Fortunately, one had tripped so I reset it and all three speeds came back and it works great now.

Ooh, that would be a nice fix. I'll check into it.

Found pic online. One breaker says heater med/high the other says heater low. Hopefully yours the same and that's all it is. Good luck!

That panel looks very similar to the one under my helm. I will have to check it out.

Glad to see this fixed your problem and thanks for posting the fix. Next question would be..... why did it pop the breaker. Hopefully it was just sticky running the first time in the season.

Yeah, I'm not sure. It didn't run and then pop the breaker. I did have to pull that panel off to install the PP StarGazer upgrade this spring, so I'm thinking I maybe tripped the breaker in the process. Or maybe the dealer did it when they winterized it last fall--it worked just fine before I had it winterized. I ran it on high for a few minutes in the driveway last night. I guess all I can do is keep an eye on it.

Glad to hear it worked and happy to help someone else as I am a long time recipient of help on this forum. Weird thing is I am currently between projects and haven't checked in for months then I saw your post when I did. Go figure?

I ran the heater on high for about 20 minutes yesterday with no issues.
