Prop on 2022 Paragons

I'm getting a new (spare prop) for my 2020 Paragon. I think Nautique has been featuring props with more and more cup than mine. (I think they have changed the stock prop twice for this boat since I bought mine) I'm wanting to know from someone who has a recent delivery Paragon what prop is on the boat. Thanks.

My dealer is telling me they are installing an Acme 3965 on Paragons now (which is 18.125” x 14” with a .130 cup). That is one heckuva dinner plate!

Yes, ZZ8. When I brought my boat up from Florida and installed the prop that the factory included, I was surprised to see an OJ. I even verified that it was the correct prop with White Lake before installing it, and they said it was. My boat had been sitting at Roswell for a few months though, so things may be different on boats being delivered now.

I believe its an OJ WakePro V4 for the 2022 paragons?

Yes, the 1771 like I said above.

Yep, OJ 1771-MF which is the same as the ACME 3623 which is a 18 x 13.5 and a 120 cup

The 3917 is the way I will go. It is an 1/8" larger diameter than stock, 13.5" pitch and .105 cup. It slightly reduces RPMs without noticeably damaging hole shot; accordingly has better cruising/top speed. It isn't as radical a jump as the 3965 in terms of pitch and cup. A fellow Paragon owner has been testing props for Acme. Here are the stats he posted:

Why not the 3965 prop? Lower RPM for surfing would mean less fuel consumption, no?

Nothing at all wrong with the 3965. If you are not at high altitudes/don’t run with a lot of extra weight/passengers-it is likely the ticket.

We have the ACME 3563 prop and see 2800rpms surfing at 11.6mph. It seems to do pretty well on gas. We run an additional 800lbs of lead in 2021 G25.
