    Random question about anode

I have a 2017 G23 Coastal edition and since the boat will never see salt water as long as I own it would I notice any handling improvement from removing the anode from the rudder?

I bent a prop and while I was under there It got me thinking. It sticks out maybe 3/8' on each side so I could possibly see it benefit. Guess I'll pull it off this afternoon and just keep them in the boat.

Post a response if you notice any difference. Are you on Lake Martin. I'm down in Fairhope now

Took them off yesterday afternoon. Should be able to test this weekend.

I can't imagine this making any difference... Maybe if you were talking a high speed race boat... But maybe I'm wrong...

shag After the anode is removed I'm expecting it to drive and be nimble like a Ski Nautique.

Update: As mentioned above no noticeable difference from what I could tell. Still handles like a barge.
