Has anyone had issues with the actuated power tower in the G series? This is the tower that goes up at a 90 degree angle, not the scoping one.
Spring 21 couldn't get it to go up after the winter (plugged into charger whole time). Ran the boat for ~20 mins and eventually it went up, worked fin all summer.
Winter 21 couldn't get it to go up unless running it for ~20 mins. Spring of 22 too it to shop and they replaced the batteries but couldn't actually find anything wrong.
Since getting the boat back the tower won't go up unless I run it for ~20 mins and then try.
Has anyone ran into an issue like this? I've tried all sorts of things after getting it to work (using it a lot of times, just putting it down before putting it away, etc) and can't get it to work consistently when I take the boat out unless I run it for ~20 mins which isn't practical.
What is odd is the battery system for the tower is separate from everything else as in its not even listed in any of the diagnostics. It doesn't seem like the built in charger flows juice too it, if anything it seems like it zaps it.
Is this why Nautique scrapped this design? Is there a known issue or a recall?
My cover is for the down position and I can't seem to find one for the up position. Everything else on the boat is working great.
