Loose Strut

I am in the process of changing out my damaged prop and tracking fin on my 14 G21. When taking off the prop I noticed the strut had a very small amount of left to right movement. I checked the screws and sure enough a few were loose. In fact, I've had a bit of water coming in and think I may have just found the culprit. I noticed the screws for the tracking fin are threaded wood type screws (see photo). Does anyone know if these are the same for the strut, or are they more bolt style with washer and locking nut? I would assume considering the necessary strength of the strut that they are the latter. If so, I'm hoping for easy access to the nuts so I can get them tightened back up.

I'm all but certain that's going to be through bolted.
