I can’t seem to confirm (and would prefer not to drill to check). Does anyone know if the 2010s had a metal plate in the swim deck to mount the ladder to? If not, is there another way to mount one without having to go all the way through the deck?

The 2012 platforms have no metal plate, so I would venture to guess that the 2010's are the same. I assumed that there was something to screw to, and was surprised to find foam when I drilled my holes.
I did get the ladder mounted and it is still working well today! See this post for how I did it: https://www.planetnautique.com/vb5/f...dding-a-ladder

If all else fails and you do go all the way through the platform, look up my old thread but I discovered elevator bolts. They have a flat circular top and have a lag bolt boss on them. Get stainless ones 2 inches long is what I used on my 220.
I also was installing seadeck at the same time so you can't even really tell the bolts are there.

Need to get busy and mount a ladder on 2012 but do not want to remove and replace the SeaDeck. Going to make a metal bracket that sandwiches between the swim platform and the mounting bracket that bridges to space between them. If that does not work may try to make the plate with 90 degree bends on both ends and bolt to the inside surface of both mounting brackets. My boat is at the marine in Michigan and have not had time to design the best method.
For the time we use a tow rope handle hanging off of the rear lifting eye to stick a foot in.
How the **** can you get in a ski boat in deep water with ot a ladder?

My kids hop right on the boat and never use the ladder. But then again they wakeboard for 15 miles straight with no break

I've never had a problem without a ladder, so I guess I am in better shape than I thought!
biacs LOL, my 10-year old likes to see how many times he can ski around the lake. He likes to ski behind a 14' row boat with a 15-hp outboard (zero wake) which maxes out at about 17 mph, and I think he got up to 3 laps once, which takes quite a while at 17 mph.
