    Belly ballast leak

I’ve got a 2020 g23. Noticed my bilge running every time I tried to fill belly ballast. Can anyone give me direction on easiest way to check fittings for leaks or see if there is a tear in the tank? The water level in the bilge goes up fast enough that I’m assuming it’s not a small hole or leak anywhere.

Did you make any progress on this? I have the same on my GS-22. Trying to figure out how to access the belly tank. It looks like you have to remove the gas tank? I don't know going to tear into it at the end of the season

on my 23 i have access holes under the front bow seats. I slowly and painfully got myself under the floor through one of those access holes. Found a 2X4" hole from a mouse a few inches from the inlet fittings. the actual hose detaches from the other side of a wall in front of the gas tanks. I debated cutting out the holes a little more and unclamping the bag that way but wanted to try a patch first. I ended up using flex seal tape over the hole and its held for 6 weeks now and about 80 hours of use with most of that having the tank filled. praying it will continue to hold but i replace the bag as a winter project. I wish i knew the model number so i could order another. found similar sized bags but fittings dont look the same.

Email nautique parts they probably have them. I got a bimini top tube replacement from them it wasn't listed on the website had to ask. The GS there is no way to access from the bow seat but I'm going to look again this weekend. Good tip on the flex seal tape I might try if I can get access.

I ended up taking the gas tank out(after draining it). The fill hoses and gas hose were a pain to loosen as the sorta melted on the fitting so I had to cut a few off. Anyway two of us lifted the tank out and placed it on the swim step and then we were able to access the front compartment where the bag was. Removed it and verified it was leaking. Order a new one from dealer took a couple week and $700+ so it was expensive but fat sack and nautique parts said they didn't stock it. I installed the the new sack and reinstalled the gas tank by myself it wasn't that hard. Also dipped boat in water at ramp and ran all three pumps to fill bags and verify no leak. Mission accomplished.
