I just received my new 2022 gs22 and the heater hoses don’t extend farther out than the drivers seat. I’ve had plenty of other boats and they all stretch to passenger side for them to use the heater. Anyone else experience this in their 2022? I haven’t been very happy with the quality control of this boat.

Not sure if this is applicable, but I had the same issue with my 2020 G21. Turns out the hoses were long enough, they were just binding against the external plate that the hose outlet clips into. Unscrewed the mounting plates and was able to get the hoses to extend fully. Hope this helps.

I will give that a try. I pulled pretty hard and figured they would come out if there was more but I will give that a try.'18 SAN 210 Reef Blue/Admiral Blue Metal Flake

I have heard of that before too, although it has never been an issue on my boats. I bet the hose is stuck like BasaltRMK mentioned above.I own and operate Silver Cove Marine, which is an inboard boat restoration, service, and sales facility located in Mooresville, North Carolina. We specializes in Nautiques and Correct Crafts, and also provide general service for Nautiques fifteen years old and older.

Unscrewed the external plate and there isn’t any more hose to pull….they simply cut it short. Pretty frustrated with the QC of this boat! So many issues.'18 SAN 210 Reef Blue/Admiral Blue Metal Flake

Ugh, sorry to hear - was hoping it the hoses were just bound up. At least it's a warranty issue, but of course that involves a trip to the dealer. I'm also always amazed at the poor quality of the heater hoses - for an item that is meant to be continually deployed and re-deployed, stretched across the boat, etc. - they sure do tend to rip easily. And I don't even have kids or dogs.

I put a hose in my "Boat List" in Amazon, seems to be the correct diameter, and it's also lined, FWIW. Might be a $16 experiment. I have a ripped hose that I haven't gotten to on the fix list yet. I think it will just need a few inches trimmed next to the vent and not a full replacement. Good luck tmb.

Scooter G, looks promising, please throw out an update once you've received and installed it!
Just noticed that on the driver's footwell heater hose outlet (NOT the one I had to unscrew to get more hose out), one of the two screws holding the mounting plate on has torn through the mounting plate screw-hole tab. Anyone know if you can get just a replacement mounting plate? I only see the full hose/mounting plate combo on NautiqueParts and elsewhere.

I have 2022 GS22 also. I had the same complaint regarding the heater hoses. They don't go out past the center of the boat. I am heading in for my 20hr service and going to have them take a look. I will let you know what comes out of it.
I have also had a pretty rough experience with quality control. My Linc is toast, maps (GPS) was defective, no radio reception and my ballast actuators have never worked. I am working with the dealership to get everything resolved but its pretty embarrassing for Nautique. I have been scouring this forum learning about fixes and ideas on getting everything sorted out. I have been close to bringing the boat back a couple times.
