I have a 2011 Nautique SAN210 Signature Edition (gauges not screen). Often the radio display (CMS1) will flake out and give strange or half formed letters and the nautique cruise screen will be dark with not all of the pixels lit up. This happens while running with the volts reading at ~14 and while stopped with engine off.. Recently, the 12v accessory will also shut down if it has a small draw such as charging a phone.
The boat has a dealer installed blue sea, add a battery kit with ACR, but this issue happened before and after that install. The starter battery is a recently bought Optima Red Top and the House battery is a recently bought blue top and both fully charged. In addition, the alternator was replaced last year.as it was slow to start and that occasionally happens now.
Any thoughts on how to diagnose the issue? With new batteries fully charged and new alternator, it leads me to think of some sort of wiring or ground issue?
