maintaining your G23 battery while on a buoy

I have a 2021 G23. The battery switch on this boat only has an "on" or "off" (There is no battery 1 and 2). Even while garaged, there appears to be a draw on the battery that drains the batteries pretty quickly if you don’t put them in the off position. We will be bringing the boat up to Tahoe and putting it on a buoy for the summer. If I shut the batteries off, I lose the bilge pump. If I leave them on, the battery will likely go dead. Does anyone have any solutions that allow for the operation of the bilge pump while protecting the battery from getting drained?

You could use a solar charger. I did that for a while with one of my Fish Nautiques. Just make sure you get one that won't overcharge the batteries.

You could also track down the Amperage Draw, that shouldn't be normal, and something you could fix and not have to worry about it ever again.

on a 2021, that should be something the dealer should resolve under warranty - if it's not functioning right... imo

There's no way those batteries should be drawing down that fast. You need to find what's pulling that much. I've left mine on for days at a time and the batteries were plenty charged to start the engine.

I had a Supra that would do a random draw down, never could find it. We had a solar charger if we were anchored and the 4 subs were sucking wattage for an extended period, worked like a charm. I like the warranty idea, but tough time of year to have your boat sit in the shop for weeks.
