    Excalibur 330 Oil Drain Location

Can anyone help me with the location of the oil drain tube on an '07 Excalibur 330? According to the PCM manual, you can thread the oil drain hose through the drain plug hole, but I have not yet been able to find it. It appears that the oil was overfilled when I had it winterized last fall, and I'd like to lower the level a bit.

Should be on the starboard side clipped to a engine lift ring. That said, it could just as easily have been dropped into the bilge. There isn't a lot of room on the SV-211 to reach under there and feel around for it but that's pretty much what you're going to have to do. Take the divider panels out on the starboard side and see if you can reach under there.

Thanks, Charles. You're right, there isn't a ton of room in there, and I'm 6'2". At least I now have a starting point!

You can use an oil extraction pump via the dipstick tube to pull out the excess. This will much more precise and frankly faster.

Yeah, I would agree. I've been thinking about buying one. Maybe it's time to just bite the bullet.

They really are very useful, And you can thread it to the drain hose as well for very clean and tidy oil changes.

Alright, using the extractor was slick as snot. Thanks for the nudge in the easy direction!

Do not do this. I've seen more than one extractor tube get stuck in the dipstick tube and require a LOT of work to get it out. There's a very handy, built-in oil drain tube provided by Nautique. Use that instead.
