    2022 G23 Paragon - Can’t get fuel in it!

First, the boat is insane! Second, it needs gas and we can’t get fuel in it at a greater rate than 1gpm…that means it takes us an hour to fuel the fricken thing. We have done it three times and tried everything. We are in AZ and its 115 today. Was told that because of the heat, the pressure in the tank is greater than the weight of the fuel and thus the emissions flap/vent will not open. Our pumps are wide open here so its not an issue with the pumps at the marina. Anybody else had this issue?

There are two filler points for the boat one on each side. Have you tried both sides?
Also keep both sides open while fueling?

Yep…tried it all. Seems like the weight of the fuel is not heavy enough to overcome the pressure from the tank to allow the inlet control valve open. It’s hot here (115).

Can you put a short (2 foot) hose into the 2nd filling point? Perhaps that will keep the inlet control valve/flap open while fueling the other fill point.

It could also be a kink in the vent hose lines if they are too long not allowing it to flow properly, have you checked those?

It has to be a kink in the vent hose line. I used a giant ZIP tie and looped it through itself to create a giant loop at the top so it could not go down into the tank. I put the zip tie long end on the opposite side fill so that it could go past the flapper….the boat filled fine. Simple fix, but shouldn’t have to do that….

Very smart trouble shooting technique, hopefully your dealer isn't too far from you and can fix the vent hoses quickly!
