Knock Sensor alarm after hitting large wakes

I’m curious if anyone else has ever had this problem. I hit a series of pretty large weeks today and immediately afterward the knock sensor alarm went off. I cleared to code and am waiting to see if it comes back.
The code was “knock not detected†as opposed to “continuous knock detected†which led me to reset the code because it should come right back if the computer truly can’t detect knock. Several hours after reset and no alarm.

    Thanks!

I’ve never had that happen, but I would suspect that you Have a loose connection in the wiring harness at the knock sensor plug and when you hit the wave the connection was interrupted and your ECM could no longer detect the knock sensors momentarily and that’s what threw the code.
