My 2020 G23 has been displaying a couple of fault codes, DTC8929 and, more troubling, DTC1157 which will put the boat in guardian mode and reduce power to about 10%. The 8929 code goes away when we get the RPM’s up so I’m assuming it may be a battery issue (although both batteries test above 12v). The 1157 code requires powering the boat off to clear the code and allow full power to resume but that fix only lasts for 60 seconds at a time. The DTC1157 also does not appear on the list of faults stored in the computer so that’s a bit puzzling…..This has happened just a few times and we were able to wait the issue out and continue on with a full day of boating but it would be nice to figure out a permanent fix. Has anyone experienced this problem? Thank you!
