Fuel line routing

1998 Air Nautique Gt40 efi 351. Engine was rebuilt. I need to know how the fuel lines connect from the fuel control cell(high pressure fuel pump) to the fuel rail and fuel regulator. There are 2 braided lines. Does the high pressure pump connect to the regulator and the fuel rail then to the return side of the fuel control cell..... Or does the high pressure pump connect to the fuel rail and then the regulator to the return side of the fuel cell? Pictures would be nice!

If you havent figured it out yet.
On my 98 SN GT40 the fitting on the top of the FCC and toward the front of the engine, goes to the fuel rail. This is the shorter hose.

Thanks, my fuel cell is at the back of the engine. I will try to figure it out.
