    Cup Holder Attachment

Through my ownership of two Nautiques (2017 G23 and a 2020 P23) it is clear that Nautique doesn’t intend for the cup holders to stay fixed to the boat. Yes, I know a number of you will say “but what if you need to see the wiring for the lighted cup holders, etc? Poppycock. Nothing pisses me off more than pulling my drink from the cup holder and the cup holder coming with it. My local boat tech says to use Boat Life “Life Seal”. One can remove the cup holder if needed, but it will hold the cup holder down under normal use. Talk to me. Thanks.

RDT-G23 Yes the cup holder design is poor to terrible. In addition the quality of them is junk . IMHO they should all be stainless steel without the stupid blinding illumination feature . You struck a nerve with me on this post ; I had to vent

I think the clear silicone sealant that I reference above applied around the lower perimeter of the lip that rests on the fiberglass should address this issue. That said, I’ve always wondered why the cup holders are this way. It is the same on every Nautique I’ve ever been on (and I love my NAUTIQUES). It is silly/maddening.
