    G23 2019 Throttle replacement - need help

Hi I need to change the throttle base of my 2019 G23. Im seeking for instructions on how to do it - take the handle and the panel off etc. Any feedback is highly appreciated. Btw i could find threads on this topic but not very detailed. Thanks in advance

Assuming it’s the same as my 200:

    1. remove the round cap on the base of the throttle handle to expose the Allen head bolt attaching it to the base assembly, remove the handle.
    2. Remove the padded side trim, it will pop off as it is held in place with plastic insert connectors.
    3. Remove the bolts/screws exposed that hold the side panel in place, there are also 2 bolts on a bracket securing the bottom
    4. unplug the interior light plug near the lower cup holder.
    5. unplug the two wiring harnesses from the back of the base assembly.
    6. Move the side panel enough to allow you to remove the 4 bolts holding the base assembly, removing the top cup holder makes it easier to get at the back of the bolts.
    7. Install the new base assembly, reconnect the wires
    8. reattach the handle and adjust the “play” in the movement of the handle while locked into neutral, and the stiffness of the throttle to your liking. This is done via the recessed Allen head bolts under the bottom the the base assembly, the one closest to the handle is for adjusting the amount of play in neutral. You need to do this before reinstalling the side panel as you won’t able to get at one of the bolts.
    9. Button it all back up.

you will have to worm around at times to get behind the panel from the drivers feet and from the back side at various times. It’s pretty simple if you handy, take you time disassembling.

Below is the BOS thread from when I was trying to figure out what was wrong with the boat.

Did you have to do this swap due to the boat not starting? Im having this issue, 19 G21.
