this is the same problem we are having with a 09 211. I did notice occasionally over the past year I had intermittent power to the dash. Replaced a ground bus bar that showed some fatigue. I had a mechanic go to the dock and connected with laptop. Computer showed no errors. show rpm's while cranking. Where is this relay located?

The relay is behind the kick-plate just next to the breakers. In my case if you look at the pics I posted, you'll see a "jumper" cable and electrical tape that I had to make up whilst floating dead in the water in order to get the boat back to base, there should be a relay there but it had failed so I had to get creative.... Very unlikely you'll get an error code, you certainly will not if the relay is away. You'll need somebody who is handy with a an electrical meter, you're looking for any points of high resistance. TBH, and I'd recommend this to anybody, the first thing to do is to change out relays if you have electrical problems, then progress to switches. Each time you take a relay or switch out look carefully at the cable crimps, if they are green or white (corrosion, salt etc) they need replacing. My dash was intermittent for a year or so, then point blank failedLast edited by ally505; 07-18-2023, 03:41 AM.

If you don't want to modify (and improve) the wiring, and I understand a lot of people aren't keen to carve into the wiring on the boat, then replace the relay, its cheap and available on eBay, at the very minimum, you're removing one fail mode. relay pictured below.
Corrosion on the contacts for the relay can contribute to the problem, potentially the relay in not energising due to the increased resistance. Look carefully at the contacts, any corrosion needs to be addressed (this is also a reason as to why I cut the loom back as the female socket the relay plugged into, despite being sealed, was showing signs of corrosion).
Good luck and pls let us know how you get on.
