Just bought this a month ago and the gauges wont start working until driving the boat for 5 minutes or so . Perfect pass works the whole time so the boat is useable as i wait for the rest of the gauges to pop on. The last two gauges take a while (oil pressure and voltage). So i was thinking it was a corroded connection. I cleaned all the battery terminals and the connectors at the gateway box. I dont know where the grounds are for these as i want to clean them up as well. Dont really know the cause so im kinda trying to figure it out myself. Have not changed the batteries in the boat, it starts and runs fine. I guess i could try that next. Read some stuff about a gateway box but im kinda hoping to figure it out before going that route. Any input would be appreciated.

If it is all of the gauges - it sounds as if the gateway may be going out. If it was just one or two gauges - I would say to just swap places in the daisy chain to see if that made it work... -

Out of curiosity where did you find the gateway box? I thought they were not available. BTW, I would love to have your old one and would pay shipping. I have been tinkering with the gateway, Faria bus, gauges trying to fix the problems.Comment

its the 2008 faria gateway . I think your boat is older version of gateway. you can have it if you want.Comment
