Purchased a 2012 230 the other day and it has been running great. Started scrolling through the linc 2.0 and came across the diagnostic screen. A code of dtc 606- microprocessor failure is on there. How can I tell if this is an old or current code and what does it mean, if it’s current. Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure you can see the date/time of the error if you read the codes with Rhinda Diacom. But I'd have to check to be sure. Just don't clear the code via the Linc. If you don't want to buy Diacom I think a dealer would read the code for what would hopefully be a nominal fee.

The diagnostics manually basically says it's either an issue with power or ground connections to the ECM, or the ECM itself. But it also basically implies if the fault is intermittent and doesn't come back after being cleared, to ignore it.
