Nope. You still need cooling water through the heat exchanger and out the exhaust.

I figured that but the manual isn’t clear. Can I send a water hose into the line that has the large screen filter? Assuming that’s the water pick up. Probably shouldn’t have this boat if I’m asking such stupid questions.

Noob to winterizing these modern closed-cooled systems. Is the forward heat exchanger for the heater also warmed by antifreeze or is it raw water and needs some winterization beyond the 3 hoses in the manual? It seems to me that running AF through the ballast pumps is overkill. On my 230 they are higher than the hoses flowing to and from them. I think pulling the covers and making sure there is no water in the actual pump houseing should be good. A little water in thins, bags, and tanks should be fine to freeze up and not cause any harm. At least that is my theory. Thoughts?

Assuming you're talking about the heater for the interior (the one with the tubes), yes, that should have antifreeze in it if it is on a newer boat with closed cooling.

I have never run antifreeze through the ballast pumps. I just make sure they are empty and leave them alone. Never had a problem.
