    gluing seadek back down....

    hi everyone

so the corner of one of the SeaDek panels on my swim platform is de-adhering bit. i'm wondering if there is an approved method or glue to use to re-adhere it to the platform......

i actually installed SeaDek in the boat a couple years ago. worked great. but i did NOT replace what was on the platform. this means i have those pieces and could replace. but it seems like ti will be a huge pain to take it all off properly. seems simpler to just try to spot-glue this back on????

any suggestions before i try superglue, contact cement, or some other obvious solution?

    thx in advance,
    geoff

I've used 3M spray 90 several times with no issues. Since it is a spray you have to tape everything off and it takes some practice to get good at applying the correct amount.

3M spray 90 here also. Get as much of old adhesive off as you can.. I used 90% rubbing alcohol to prep surface for better adhesion

Ditto on the 3m spray, looks like you found the magic. Let it tack for a few minutes and then stick it down, watch the overspray.
