Well I was told by my dealer to go here for the following information because they didn’t know where to find it. And I’ve scoured the manual for this very basic info to no avail.

would be great to have this info before I remove the filters
fuel filter pn
oil filter pn
oil specs
atf specs

and can we really not do the ballast filter ourselves per the manual?

OK well I found it out if anybody else is looking oil filter is a R077001 and it takes 6 quarts of mobile one 5-30
Fuel filter change not recommended by a mere mortal

You need the PCM Engine owners manual for most of your questions but the dealer should have the part #’s. Nautiqueparts.com is a good place to order from if your local dealer is a long way from you, they will help make sure you get the right parts if you ask.

I see you mention a ballast filter above. Unless you have the Quagga Mussel filters, there shouldn't be a filter on the ballast lines. Either way, there is nothing to do to those anyway.

So I remove the end of my drain hose plug and it with the oil at 180 nothing runs out and the engine has oil so is there a valve or some thing that I missing?

Just very frustrated because information seems to come im fits in spurts and the dealership net work for nautique is complete garbage they are insulting and their lack of concern. All they do is evade questions say on I don’t really know and direct you to a god**** YouTube video

The oil will eventually drain out, but it will take forever that way. There is no valve or anything.

Most of us use a pump and pump it out from that hose.

I use this one, and just insert the small hose as far as it will go into the oil drain hose on the boat. Then just pump it into a collection jug.

I can understand your frustration trying to get things moving on what would appear an new boat to you. That said the dealer sells parts in their parts department and does the work you're looking to do yourself as a service. If you were there to buy the parts and they didn't want to sell them to you I could understand why you would be upset but to expect them to be your research team for parts you plan to buy elsewhere or be your education source for doing your own maintenance is a bit of a stretch. While I'm sure there are dealers out there that may do this for their customers I personally haven't run into one.

As others have commented the engine manual (downloadable here on this site) does have all the part numbers and some such has myself have posted here on some crossover part numbers for things like oil filters and fuel system filters that should pop up in a search. You should also be able to find quite a few "how to" posts here for many of the maintenance and winterizing tasks you're looking to do. I use youtube frequently to educate myself on to do many of the maintenance items as well as light repairs on my boat. I've found it to be quite helpful. Another resource for all this would be Discount Inboard Marine (sikdim.com). They'll be more helpful than your dealer as they're there to sell parts and can help you find the right ones as well as field many of your questions. I recently watched their youtube video on changing the fuel system filters which I thought was quite helpful and well produced for a youtube video. They recently sent out a 10% discount code (winterize2022) as part of their fall special.

On the oil..... You'll be there forever waiting on the oil to drain especially if it's cold. I use a Sureflow electric pump device they sell that hooks up to your battery. I've had the thing for probably 15 maybe even 20 years and has worked great for me however most use the vacuum versions that are very popular. You can find examples of them here.....

One hack many of us have done has been to find a barbed fitting that will thread onto the oil drain tube. It took me forever to figure this one out as I was always too busy winterizing the boat to take the time to go to the hardware store and get one. I finally took the cap from the drain tube off and used it to get a barbed fitting from Home Depot. I used a piece of rubber hose that would snugly fit on the plastic tubing on the Sureflow pump and sized the barbed end of the fitting to that. Now all I do is thread that onto the oil drain tube from the engine, connect the other end to the Surflow and turn on the pump and let it do it's thing for about 10 minutes.
