Brass plugs ->removed heater lines - (Lowes) Brass OK?

Just removing my heater lines altogether this weekend. Are the brass 1/2 plugs from the plumbing section suitable?

Did some searching. but I wasn’t able to determine if a brass plug is a brass plug.

I would think those would be fine.
